Well Test Request
Please complete the form below to request a free annual private well test through the Muscatine County Building, Zoning, & Environmental Office.
Well tests are done on Tuesdays between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. An inspector will come to the house and obtain a water sample. The sample is typically taken from the kitchen sink. The test will include the following analytes: Coliform, E. coli, and Nitrates. The results will be emailed to you in approximately 1-2 weeks.
Once the form is submitted, a staff member will contact you with a scheduled date and time for your test.
