Assistant County Attorney
The Muscatine County Attorney is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Muscatine County Attorney.
Previous prosecution experience is desired, but not a requirement to apply. Those entry-level candidates who have completed a prosecution internship, legal clinic, or clerk duties for a law firm or judge will be preferred.
Position requires a current valid license to practice law in the State of Iowa. Applications from recent law school graduates awaiting bar exam results will be considered.
Current salary range is $79,184 to $130,389 depending on experience. Muscatine County offers a competitive benefits package. Muscatine County residency is not a requirement of employment. As this is a law-enforcement position, candidates will be subject to a background investigation before a final offer is made.
