Food Service Worker - Muscatine County Jail

The Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office – Jail Division is accepting applications for a full-time Food Service Worker. This position prepares a variety of foods from an established menu and is responsible for the care and cleaning of kitchen facilities and equipment; supervises inmate workers in the performance of duties assigned to them.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year experience in an institutional or commercial food preparation facility or equivalent education and experience. Must also have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under Muscatine County’s insurance policy.

Starting hourly rate $15.57 with full-time benefits. 40 hours/week.
