Highway Maintenance Worker
Duties include the operation of a variety of trucks and heavy equipment in the maintenance and construction of County roads and general labor.
Minimum requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and six months related work experience. Commercial Driver License and insurable under Muscatine County’s insurance policy. Pre-employment drug screening required.
Starting hourly rate July 1, 2026: $23.04 - $25.47, based off qualifications and experience. Step raises after 6 months with satisfactory performance. Excellent benefits package.
