Dust Control Reminder

Dust generated by the traffic on gravel roads is a common concern for rural living.  Information on dust control in Muscatine County can be found at https://www.muscatinecountyiowa.gov/engineer/dust_control/. 

While the deadline to submit permits to the county is April 24, some dust control contractors may have earlier deadlines.  Residents are encouraged to submit their dust control permits and order forms to the contractor as soon as possible to avoid late fees, and to allow the contractors and county adequate time to prepare.
