Andy Hartsock Memorial Fishing Derby & Clinic

Come learn the basics of fishing with several education stations and then put your newfound fishing knowledge to use and participate in the Kids Fishing Derby.  Prizes are awarded for several categories. 

Lunch will be served in the playground shelter at noon for those who participate.  If you would like to participate in the fishing derby, bring all of your fishing gear plus bait, there will only be a few poles that can be borrowed.   

Pre-registration is requested for this event. Please visit the Environmental Learning Center to register. Check-in starts at 8:30 day of the event at the front pond.

Toddlers, bring your favorite adult to Nature Camp! Activities are designed to help toddlers explore nature through hands-on activities, stories, crafts, games, and activities.

Old Barn's 100th Birthday Celebration

Mark your calendar for the Old Barn's 100th birthday celebration on June 20, from 11am - 5pm

Box Lunch Food Truck will be onsite from 11 am - 2 pm with their classic American food.

Todd Stammer will be bringing artifacts & displays from the mountain men era.

Third Floor String Band will be joining us around noon for some live music.

Michelle Berns from the Environmental Learning Center will be bringing live animals from 11 am - 2 pm.

Crafts and coloring pages for the kids.

As always, plenty of photo ops for family and friends.

June Twilight Paddle

Let’s watch the sun set and the moon rise from Lake Chester.  Canoes, kayaks, and lifejackets are available to borrow, or bring your own.  Please bring a light that can be attached to your boat.  Sign up for any number of the upcoming Twilight Paddles.
